Founded by Orion and Melanie Brutoco, our company is driven by a personal and professional mission. As parents of a child with special needs and seasoned social workers, we understand the challenges families face firsthand.

Orion Brutoco, MSW

Co-Founder & Disability Advocate

Master of Social Work, USC

Orion Brutoco, MSW, is a disability advocate with a professional background in social work. His experience includes working with vulnerable populations in Los Angeles’ Skid Row community, as well as supporting adults with disabilities and older adults relying on In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS).

His social work background gives him a unique understanding of both the human side of disability and the complex systems families must navigate. At Bureaucratic Ninjas, Orion helps clients navigate IHSS, Protective Supervision, Regional Center services, HCBS waivers, and appeals.

Melanie Brutoco brings both professional and firsthand experience navigating disability systems. Before becoming a parent, Melanie worked with individuals with disabilities in Louisiana, giving her an early understanding of care access challenges.

Years later, when their daughter Olivia was born with a rare genetic condition and developmental disabilities, Melanie navigated those systems as a parent. Today, she helps families build strong documentation, prepare for assessments, and advocate effectively.
